Voka Charter Sustainable Business 2023-2024

We are thrilled to announce that The Compost Bag Company has received the Voka Charter Sustainable Business Certificate for the third consecutive year! This significant milestone was celebrated on June 20th at De Kruitfabriek in Vilvoorde, where we joined 40 other dedicated companies in receiving this esteemed recognition from Voka – KvK Vlaams-Brabant.

The Voka Charter Sustainable Business (VCDO) honors companies committed to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This year, a record number of 41 companies were awarded the certification, reflecting the growing commitment to sustainability within the Vlaams-Brabant region.

The VCDO journey begins with a baseline assessment, evaluating how each company measures up against the 17 SDGs. Based on these findings, we crafted a tailored action plan to enhance our sustainability initiatives. An independent evaluation committee then validated and assessed our progress, ensuring we met the high standards required for certification.

Our third consecutive certification is a testament to our unwavering commitment to sustainable practices and continuous improvement. Each year, we strive to deepen our impact, guided by the principles of the SDGs.
